A Word from our CEO
We gathered together as an organization with the intention of discussing our purpose. As a smaller-sized bank in a crowded marketplace, it’s important for each of us to understand who we are and what we do for our clients when we’re at our best.
The conversation centered around the phrase “We fuel prosperity.” I believe this phrase most clearly encapsulates our mission as a financial institution. Yes, we seek to help businesses achieve monetary success, but what separates us from our competitors is a desire to go beyond just the numbers.
The word “prosperity” suggests not only wealth, but a sense of well-being. We develop lasting relationships with our clients founded on trust and accountability. Our bankers provide high-touch, individualized service, and across the board at Atlantic Capital, you’ll find our drive to help our clients goes beyond what most other banks are willing to provide.
But this commitment to fueling prosperity also translates into the culture of our organization as a whole. From our emphasis on community development to our insistence on conducting business with only the highest level of integrity, we have sought to create an environment in which both our clients and our employees are capable of thriving.
Our purpose statement expresses the reason why so many of us at Atlantic Capital find meaning in our work and why we see our business as a second family. I’m proud to serve as CEO of this organization, and I’m looking forward to our continued commitment to fueling prosperity, in our immediate area and beyond.
Sincerely,
Douglas L. Williams
